Sabrina Pirzada to Deliver Captivating Mix of Heartland Dream Rock and Americana Soul at Hotel Cafe Performance

Sabrina Pirzada is set to headline at the Hotel Cafe on the main stage in support of her debut album Tell Them Not to Look for Me, showcasing mesmerizing blend of Heartland Dream Rock and Americana Soul.
The California-born singer/songwriter and guitarist crafts genre-blending philosophical anthems that bridge the gap between 1960s and 1970s-style guitar-based rock and New Americana. With a voice that has been compared to art singer Blossom Dearie and 1960s girl groups, Pirzada delivers a Springsteen-indebted energy and subtly potent guitar phrases that say a lot with a little. Her live performances are known for high energy and and engaging stage presence. Written by Pirzada and produced by Ryan Hommel (Musical Director: Daisy Jones and the Six, Guitarist: Amos Lee), Tell Them Not to Look for Me offers an eclectic mix of songs that range from catchy, arena-sized anthems to stripped-down ballads. It has been praised for its modern take on heartland rock sensibilities, uniquely complex and emotionally resonant lyrics, and catchy hooks that range from arena-sized anthems to stripped down ballads.
“The album is about going all-in,” says Pirzada. “Tell Them Not to Look for Me is my version of the saying, ‘Damn the torpedoes,’ or ‘Forget the obstacles. Let’s proceed.’ The whole album is kind of an examination of questions like, ‘What things are worth risking everything for? What are the things that have real value? To what lengths am I willing to go for that? What am I willing to bear and why? What good can I make out of this? What is my job?’ It’s about deciding what that is and going all in for it.”
